A LETTER FROM ALBANY, NEW YORK’S LEADER IN CONCRETE REPAIR & INSTALLATION SERVICES…
Albany Concrete Contractors is the Michael Jordan of concrete services near you.
We are not that basic, boring, unskilled, run of the mill company that outsources those new prefab steps you wanted to some guy we hired off Craigslist. Not even close! This team has an impressive collection of true masonry experts who’ve done everything from stamped concrete retaining walls in Albany, to brick and concrete patio installation in Latham, to excavation construction in Troy. |
|
You’re looking at tight knit group of skilled craftsman who eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff.
Need to install concrete steps? Easy. Perfect stairs are a piece of cake.
Want a local contractor to install some stampcrete or increte…or to put down some spray deck? We got it covered.

Want a local contractor to install some stampcrete or increte…or to put down some spray deck? We got it covered.
Maybe you’d like to put in a new retaining wall or stamped pavers? You already know who to call.
We take pride in delivering flawless designs that your neighbors will be jealous of.
You know what I’m talking about…that brand new stamped concrete patio next door…the one with the custom walkway that winds around the garage and into the backyard?
You ever heard of that saying, “Keeping up with the Joneses”? Well how about we make you the Joneses.
There are so many concrete companies in Albany – the George Brothers, ADC Mason, Albany Concrete, Capital Concrete, All American Pool and Patio, American Design & Build, Solomon, and probably 35 others I’m forgetting. The list goes on and on.
Yawn…
The key differences that separate us from everyone else are two things: (1) we treat our customers like family and (2) we do everything in our power to guarantee your satisfaction.

Give us a ring any day of the week.
We may not always be able to jump at a moment’s notice, but we never miss an appointment. Albany county homeowners usually have plenty of room for a set of stairs, some fancy flatwork, and a winding pathway around your house to a custom patio in the backyard. |
Remember that saying from that movie with Kevin Costner?
If you build it, they will come…
Well, we can’t say for sure if installing a new concrete driveway is going to draw people to your home.
BUT, we know they’ll love what their eyes are seeing when they arrive.
Oh and by the way, new construction is something we very much enjoy doing, especially installing pool decks. Need us for any of that? Call (518) 500-3246.
Concrete repair in Albany is a huge service of ours. Calls come in all day asking for our masonry contractors to replace concrete steps, repair a pool deck, redo garage floors, and put in Stampcrete.
Yep, that’s right…we’re not famous (as far as we know), but we are one of the most reliable stamped concrete providers in the area. My team gets full credit.
That’s probably enough bragging about my guys though, so let’s talk about you for a second.

LOCAL CONCRETE RESURFACING CONTRACTORS, CONCRETE WALKWAY AND DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
The stuff below is loaded with all the information you need on the full extent of our services, pricing, locations, and more. Have a quick read and reach out if you need us or have any questions.
What all do you do?
We can do concrete steps, stairs, and stains, stamped walls, fancy designs and custom walkways, patio installation, textured surfaces, mortar, epoxy, mix, kits, pouring, hundreds of stamped color combinations, grading, yard drainage systems, spray deck around pools, increte systems, brick patio walls, step designs, retaining walls, repair, color chart analysis, curbing, broomed and decorative patterns, and pool decks.
What else…oh we can also do spraydeck, patio installation, brick, stone, and interlocking pavers, concrete driveways, increte stain sealer, some garage sealing, some basement foundation repair, residential slab contractors, outdoor concrete wall design, patio walls, precast stairs, cement stair replacement, poured designs, cinder block wall repair, removing stamped concrete, and so much more that my fingers are too tired to type.
Is your garage floor sinking? Is the garage foundation cracked or sunken? With the right people, repairing a garage foundation or floor is easy. Whether the ground is uneven, or the cement is starting to crack, we can seal, level, and fix it now. All work is performed in accordance with ADA standards to ensure compliance, no matter if it’s a detached garage, a parking garage, or something else.
Our commercial concrete services are very popular as well, aiding local businesses in a variety of aesthetic or safety improvement projects, such as adding a new walkway to the building or installing a new concrete parking lot for patrons. I should also mention that if you’re looking for stamped surfaces near you, we’re the team to call! With a huge selection of colors, patterns, and styles, you’ll have plenty of choices to pick from so you can find the perfect look for your business or home.
Do you offer any specialty services?
We sure do. Epoxy floor coatings fall under that category. We have a couple epoxy flooring contractors on staff who’ve handled small residential projects for area residents and huge commercial projects for businesses and government buildings like the Albany International Airport and the Amtrack station in Rensselaer. We even do commercial concrete in Midland, TX through our partners at CMT.
Do you recommend DIY installs?
We’re obviously biased, but let me tell you why the do-it-yourself route is a bad idea, especially with new installations…
Our excavation and grading contractors do a significant amount of work to make sure that the ground surface is prepped properly before we lay down any materials. That single element is the main downfall of homeowners (and any cheap, hired labor) versus a professional team. The level of compaction and the amounts of each layer of material is precise. Without that precision, the material will not last as long; it will shift, pool water, and crack, leading to increased maintenance and more expenses to fix it. Save yourself the headache and a hire a professional the first time.
What areas do you serve?
Anything in Albany county. We’ve taken on projects in Latham, Albany, Cohoes, Watervliet, Green Island, Menands, Troy, Berne, Bethlehem, Coeymans, Colonie, Guilderland, Knox, New Scotland, Rensselaerville, Altamont, Ravena, Voorhesville, Loudonville, Westmere, Delmar, Sekirk, Slingerlands, Verdoy, Lisha Kill, Glenmont, Bought Corners, and more.
We’ve even ventured up the Northway to Saratoga County on occasion, depending on the project. If you’re unsure, give us a call anytime at (518) 500-3246 and we’ll let you know if we can help you.
Should I go with pavers?
When residents are doing outside renovations, the pavers vs concrete conversation always comes up. Whether you’re looking to upgrade a driveway, walkway, or patio, our specialists have provided a few things for you to think about:
Maintenance – Concrete installations are done with slabs, leaving less room for weeds to grow through. However, cracks and stains are more noticeable for the same reason. If you had installed pavers, you could replace individual ones if one or more were damaged.
Durability – Due to their size, slabs are more prone to splits and cracks when the ground shifts. Also, depending on how they were installed, water may pool in certain spots. Pavers do not have drainage issues because the water seeps through the small gaps in between them.
Cost – The Capital District’s average cost for concrete is $8.50 per square foot, while the cost of pavers is $11.50 per square foot. Pavers have a higher upfront expense, but they tend to last longer and increase property value to a higher degree.
Appearance – This all comes down to personal preference. Standard slabs have a basic, clean look. Stamped patterns are custom and tend to increase the aesthetic appeal. Stone pavers for driveways, walkways, and patios come in different sizing, shapes, and colors, so the customization options are significant.
Do you have any partners?
Sure do. Several of our team members hail from South Florida, specifically Dade-County. They're up here working for us now, but they started back home. As a result, we have several Florida-based connections. One such company is Miami Concrete, who specializes in resurfacing driveways. If ou've got friends or relatives who need a local provider you can trust, that's our go-to contact.
What’s your appointment process?
Fill out one of the quote forms on this page or call our main number at (518) 500-3246 and you’ll get a chance to talk to one of our resident experts. From there, depending on what you’re looking for, we’ll schedule a time to drive over to your location and give you a free, detailed estimate. Then, it’s up to you – we’re happy to proceed as you see fit.
How much is this gonna cost me?
We haven’t figured out telepathy yet, so the price you pay is gonna depend on the size and scope of the project.
We’ve got the skills that pay the bills…and we’re not those guys that stand outside Home Depot waiting for anything we can get our hands on, so you’re not gonna find that $50 half-baked job here. If that’s what you want, feel free to use that guy you’re your sister’s uncle’s cousin’s neighbor’s friend recommended.
For everyone else who’s looking for great quality work, give us a shout at (518) 500-3246 to set a day and time that works well for you.
The people who’ve experienced sloppy work in the past already know how expensive trying to save a couple bucks can be. We’re happy to share the horror stories of what happens when poor contractors cut corners.
What kind of customization options are there?
One of the things we love is that you can customize everything we do to your heart’s content. You can take a slab, change it to almost any color, and imprint all different patterns to create the perfect look for your home or business. People love to do that with walkways; it adds an expensive look to any home. As an added benefit, it doesn’t require much maintenance and holds up well to New York’s severe winter weather. While ice, snow and the freeze-thaw cycle destroy pavement, this material remains strong.
How do we start?
Call (518) 500-3246 to book an appointment, or if you’re up late and we’re after hours, fill out one of the forms on this page.
P.S. – Contact us anytime day or night. We look forwarding to speaking with you!
